When it comes to sales, you first think of the biggest online stores, and you are right. For example, Steam started its big Steam Autumn Sale (not Black Friday one because it will last much longer); but you aren’t bound to Steam or other major stores. There are lots of online stores that offer even better deals and discounts. If you take a minute to google it, you can find out that Steam sale is, in fact, not that much of a profit, compared to what you may have elsewhere.

We have done a little search throughout the web to find the best deals when it comes to gaming. Suddenly (in fact, predictably) we found out that many stores (like Green Man Gaming, Humble, or GamesPlanet) offer much better discounts than those by Steam. Not that we plan to cover all of them, or compare deals and offers across all these stores; it’s too much of the work, and, in addition, if you’re interested in a certain title, it’s not that hard to do the search.

Instead, we offer you just ten games that you can purchase with the best profit today, cheaper than ever (unless once they get abandoned and go free; chances are, though, they won’t). So let’s see the games that are worth your attention, and probably you find a little more. The deals are to last for some more days, so probably you can get them the next week, but lingering is not recommended.

Red Dead Redemption II

Red Dead Redemption II gameplay

$44.15 (Green Man Gaming)

It’s 26% off its regular price, and this game isn’t so old yet. It’s an American adventure set in the time when Wild West was quitting to be wild. So, your character is Arthur Morgan, and he has to flee after a failed robbery. Now his life is new: he may become a decent man or go on as a criminal, but anyway he has to eat and sleep, take care of horses and weapons, deal with other people, keep himself in shape, and follow the storyline… or explore the great beautiful world.

If you have been waiting for the PC version since the moment the game was out for consoles, and now you consider buying it on Google Stadia, you should consider this deal.

Well, there is even a more attractive offer: if you pay $53.99, you can have five games of choice in addition (for nine bucks more). The list is quite large, but don’t expect AAA titles there.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gameplay

$35.99 (Green Man Gaming)

This game comes with 40% off, and it’s a title that you need to play if you are fond of Oriental history and mythology. Your protagonist is a one-handed ninja on the way of revenge, both set to kill and to protect. The game is set in the Sengoku era, so fans of Japanese history will enjoy the setting.

As for the gameplay, it’s a lite version of Soul-like games, with fewer RPG elements, but great attention towards swordfights and stealth. Your character can resurrect himself, but a new life has its price, so it’s better to prefer regular saves.

And yes, it also comes with five free games of choice, just like the previous one.

Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 gameplay

$35.58 (Green Man Gaming)

Here’s another title you can have for 40% cheaper on Green Man Gaming. It’s a space adventure set in the frontier planet system that is populated by treasure hunters and resource gatherers. You are here to fight your way to success and master various weapons; the game is first of all famous for its randomly generated weapons, so you can try really billions of them.

The RPG elements assume that you take the role of a gunner, a siren, a beastmaster, and an operative, with unique abilities and skills for each class. The characters you create are just as various as the weapons the game generates. And forming a team when playing online brings even more surprises.

If you opt for the Deluxe Edition, it will cost you $48.23. The edition has more cosmetic and weapon packs, as well as Equippable XP & Loot Drop Boost mods.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gameplay

$24.30 (Green Man Gaming)

It’s one of the best bargains: the discount is solid 59% off, plus five free games from the same list above. Odyssey is the most recent installment of the famous series, now set in the fictional war between Sparta and Athens. Your character is a mercenary, named Alexis or Cassandra, but cool and militant regardless of the gender. It’s time to enter the war and select your side, so the events change.

The game is available in multiple editions. Say, for $32.40 you can have Deluxe Edition (with extra weapons, skins and boosts), for $36.00 – Gold Edition (with Season Pass), and for $43.20 there is even the Ultimate Edition (with both extras).

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep gameplay

$17.84 (Green Man Gaming)

For 49% off you can enjoy Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, one of the games that combine sci-fi entourage and fantasy setting. You are one of the Keepers of the Light that oppose Dominus Ghaul after the invasion, to save the last city of the Earth. Spectacular and dynamic, this game now has many add-ons and expansion packs, but none of the previous is necessary to play Shadowkeep.

This one comes with a Season Pass, along with all the other content featured in the extension. Besides that, there are the usual five games of choice that Green Man Gaming provides.

No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky gameplay

$25.50 at Green Man Gaming

This open-world sandbox is, as some say, a space version of Minecraft. You are the explorer of the space, and you build your ship, explore space and planets, encounter extra-terrestrial lifeforms, and complete quests. This game became popular long ago while in early access, and now it’s a cult in its own rights.

The bargain now is as fantastic as its setting: you can have this game 57% cheaper than usual. In addition, GMG offers five extra games for free.

Dark Souls III (Deluxe Edition)

Dark Souls III gameplay

$18.06 (Green Man Gaming)

One of the most classical recent titles that has given life to the entire subgenre is now available with an incredible 79% discount. For the US, alas, it’s not that good; it’s only 56%, so if you want to buy it, you can save bigger on Steam.

As for the game, it’s a classical fighting RPG with adjustable characters and skills, a long story that follows the earlier installments and shows them from a much later time, and detailed elaborate combat. Along with that, this is the final game of the series, and thus it’s a real event. It’s one of the best-selling games by Bandai Namco, and this Black Friday, it can add a big number to its counter.

Anthem

Anthem gameplay

$17.99 (Humble)

It’s a sudden online shooter by Bioware that was not accepted immediately, but now it’s highly recognized. It’s another story of a split world, isolated cities, abandoned ruins, and some Freelancers that are here to save it all, and it’s one of the most adventurous projects of the 2010s. And you can have it at 70% off now.

The game has been critically acclaimed, though not at once. Its combat and flight mechanics are great, even greater than the story behind this world. Some considered it too schematic and basic, but everyone admitted it’s beautifully designed and thus deserves at least a try. And if it does, then the time is now.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy gameplay

$17.08 (Green Man Gaming)

Oh, it’s a complete meme of a game. Phoenix Wright is a rare case (pun intended) of an interactive legal drama in the form of a quest. Your protagonist is an attorney who goes on a quest to prove his client innocent; the first part of the game is an investigation, and the second is a process.

The series has become very memetic, due to sensationally bright and individual characters, and because of great writing. Its “Objection!” became a meme in its own right. Like almost any quest, each Phoenix Wright game is no fun to replay. But the pack contains the entire trilogy, so it will provide you three times more hours of gameplay for 73% less.

Batman: Arkham Collection

Batman: Arkham Collection gameplay

$11.99 (GamesPlanet)

And, finally, here is an entire collection for 80% off. Batman: Arkham Collection contains six games that were released since 2013, and all of them are here in one pack. It’s an intense role-playing experience in Gotham influenced by Nolan’s vision, after the Dark Knight trilogy. Spectacular, dark and fast, it’s one of the best takes on Batman in the gaming industry ever.

If you miss the sale, you’ll be able to purchase it with 15% off, but that’s $50.99, and it’s not worth taking your time to think. Now you can have them all cheaper than any single Arkham game on any other day.

Your Time to Tell Us The Deals

As you see, most of the best deals we found are available on Green Man Gaming, but there are other stores that offer great discounts as well. Have you used any of them by the time you are reading this? If yes, share your experience in a comment.
